Wow! I can hardly believe this day is here. My baby is 1 year old! We had a wonderful day. The weather was good, a little hot but no rain (thank goodness!) We started out the day by going to Wal-Mart and getting Landen his bounce house. We were undecided if it would be a good idea. We thought maybe he wouldn't like it and to spend all that money just for the other kids was kind of foolish. Well we decided to get the one with the ball pit and was it ever the best investment! He LOVED it! He wasn't scared at all! Then we came home and took a nice long nap. He woke up just in time for his party! Everyone was here. We opened his presents first ....
Then we brought out the cake ...
At first he was unsure of what it was and just kind of stuck his hands in it and looked at them. Then Daddy put his hand up to his mouth ...
It was all over for the little cake boy I had made for him. He dug right in shoving the cake into his mouth. Most of it landed between him and the high chair tray and some was on the ground. He really liked it though!
We cleaned him up and sent him back out to socialize with everyone!
