We spent a week in SC with family this year for vacation. We all had a wonderful time! I’ll let the pictures tell the story …
We spent the first part of the week at Lynn and Rolaid’s lake house…
Maddie is defnitely the dare devil of the bunch …

After a few days at the lake, we went back to Aunt Lynn’s house to spend the rest of our vacation.

All kinds of fun things to do
The highlight for Landen was this flo rider. You boogie board on here and he loved it. The first trip went really well, he didn’t get knocked off at all. The second trip ended badly with him flying off the board and the people at the top who were to catch him were talking and he went flying all the way up and got a brush burn on the lower part of his belly, so now I think he’ll be a little afraid to do it again. We should have stopped after the first go ‘round!
Lynn gave the kids a book called Mice on Main, it was written by a person who lives in/around Greenville, SC and they put these little bronze mice all over the downtown area and you can pick up a paper with clues on where to find them. It goes along with the story. We spent this day downtown doing just that and the kids LOVED it!

Maddie loved the mice, we had to stop her from kissing them!
Kam is still working some at the Little Gym in the area, so the kids got to do a class with her, and they loved it!
Maddie swam and swam and swam … we called her the fish!
Landen would not get in, we are still working on his fear of the water. If he cannot see the depths on the side of the pool to know how deep it is, he will not get in. He did awesome at the water park and he loves our local pool, but he would not step foot in Lynn’s pool. (We are still doing private lessons to hopefully get him over this – and he is improving …. SLOWLY!)
