Landen’s class was a little different last Wednesday! They were told to bring a lunch and all their snow gear plus sleds! We headed out to go sledding on the hill at their school. We started out on an awesome hill. It went down into a field but there was a crust of ice on top of the snow. The kids were FLYING! Unfortunately one child didn’t get the memo to bail if you started to go too far and none of the parents could stop you and he went right through the field and onto the ROAD! Everyone was screaming for him to fall off the sled but he just kept going. You would think when all he could see was a road and some cars he would know to roll off the sled, but NOPE! So then we had to go behind the school which was barely a hill, but the kids still had fun …

What a fun day!
Friday night was a pretty big night! We had plans to go to dinner and a movie with some friends and my mom asked the kids if they wanted to spend the night at her house instead of coming home to go to bed. They said yes, and packed their bags and they were off …
This is a pretty big deal because Landen doesn’t like to be away from us very much. I was expecting to see them at home when we got back or to get a call asking me to come get him. We were so proud to hear they did excellent for Nanny!
Saturday we had a soccer game where Landen scored 2 of the 3 goals!
And then we headed to a school friend’s birthday party at a bounce house … SO FUN!
Later that night, we went to the movies with some great friends!
And if that wasn’t enough, Sunday the boys went to the Sportsman show in Harrisburg and Maddie and I went to Rebecca’s birthday party!
I think we need a weekend to recover from our weekend!
