Well, we got the 20 plus inches of snow they had be calling for! It started Friday and ended Saturday afternoon. We measured in the back yard and it was 24 inches. There was some drifting too, so we probably had more than that to begin with before it started blowing around. Luckily Dad picked up a snowblower off Craigslist Thursday night and boy was it a life saver! It still took a long time to dig out, but it was much easier than shoveling! Of course, Mom took tons of pictures :)
Dad with his new snowblower. You can barely see it!
Look how deep it is on me!
Sunday we ventured over to Nanny and Papa’s to play in the snow and try some more sledding.
Here Brent is trying to pull us through the yard. The snow is so deep, we just sink in.
Brent trying to pack down the path Brian trying to get it just right for maximum speed and distance … :)
Maddie had lost her boot after being out only a few minutes, so she went back in with Nanny to warm up. Then she decided she wanted to come back out so Brent went and got her.
She didn’t like Nanny’s hill quite as much. Brian giving us a push …
And in case you didn’t have enough … here are some cute videos!
Oh and guess what? Another estimated 12 plus is hitting us right this minute. Where are we going to go with all this snow?? This will definitely be a winter to remember!!
