We have a Reese’s and a miniature who is almost a kiss (if you notice, she is standing on her tip toes) =)
we got there a little before the park officially opened, so we went into Chocolate world where way up high, they had a Hershey bar who was waving to everyone. It was a fake one but Maddie thought he was real and she was so upset that she couldn’t go see him. Finally we got into the park and before they even got on any rides, we ran into Hershey bar himself! She was beside herself with excitement!
She got bored while waiting in line for the scrambler, so Grandpa took her over to the carousel.
She made it back just in time to jump back in line and get on the scrambler with Daddy and Landen. They all LOVED it!
Landen flying his helicopter ….
And on the mini pirate ship. Maddie saw this ride and right away said “I wanna do that!” So we got her in line and up to the ride and they said she was too small. Her hair touched the bar where she needed to be. She cried and cried. Landen was unsure about it at first, but afterwards, he wanted to do it again.
We rode the train while Daddy and Grandma D rode the “big pirate ship”
Maddie’s hat allowed her to get on some rides she otherwise wouldn’t have been able to ride … (she is older than most kids her height, she knows to hold on ect, she’s just so tiny!)
Different ride operator (who didn’t even measure) and her hat just to make sure … she made it on the mini pirate ship and loved it! Landen was awful brave this time and had his hands up the whole time!
No five dollar foot longs at Hershey park, it cost us 30 bucks to eat Subway in the park …
Landen making his own music video. He sang his “Rain is a good thing” song (by Luke Bryan) and when they played his video back over the monitors, everyone crowded around and were cheering for him. It was so cute! If I can figure out how to get the video on here, I’ll post it.
We walked up on a whole line of characters dancing in the street and Maddie was in heaven! She hugged them all!
And they did the cha cha slide with them…
Of course, they had to hit up the create your own slushie flavor stand …
Both kids loved the water park, but I didn’t take my camera along. Good thing I didn’t as I had to chase Maddie countless times, she would just take off running into the water. She LOVED the water slide and went down a million times and Landen really liked the little things that shoot water up at you.
We had a thunderstorm about 7pm and we ran for cover and then headed back to chocolate world for a little bit before heading home. We had a very fun day!
