18 months

Maddie had her 18 month check up on Tuesday too. She couldn't get her shots because when they checked her ears, she had an ear infection. So now she has another first (ear infection and first antibiotic!) After my history with ear infections, Mom was impressed that she made it a year and a half before getting one!

Here's her stats:
Height: 31.5 inches
Weight: 20.2 lbs (STILL)
Head: 46

She is in the 50% for everything but her weight. For that she is in the 3%. He voiced some concerns about her weight again and wants us to give her the pedia sure twice a day and see if we can get her weight up. She hasn't been eating well, but she seems to be getting cold after cold and when she is sick, she doens't want to eat. Now that she has started her antibiotic, she is starting to get her appetite back so hopefully we can keep her well and she will gain some weight. She is fine in every other way though.

She can talk very well and tells us what she wants now. She is even putting words together to form sentences. She even told mom "My ear hurts"

She LOVES me (Landen) and she follows me everywhere. If she can't find me, she calls "Bubba, where are you?" She wants to do whatever I am doing. Sometimes that's ok with me, but sometimes it's not. I do love to tickle her or chase her and make her laugh.

She wants to feed herself with a spoon or fork all the time ... she makes a big mess. Mom said I was a much neater eater!

She cleans up really good. We start singing the clean up song and she goes to town gathering all the toys and putting them away.

She loves to get a bath and play in the water. She fills up the cups and dumps them out repeatedly. She pretends to swim in the tub too.

She loves to brush her teeth (herself) and calls the tooth paste "poo paste!"

She wants her nut nut all the time and her blankie. She loves the tag on the blanket ... so much that Mom had Nanny sew tags on the ones that didn't have them. She's always looking for the "taggie"

She loves to CLIMB ... on ANYTHING ... ALL THE TIME!

She might be tiny, but she can hold her own! We love you Maddie moo!
