I know it's not the best picture, but Mom took it today while we were waiting for the dr. to come in and do Maddie's check up. She didn't sit on the table very long. She was running around the room most of the time. So, she checked out fine, as healthy as a horse as usual. She was 29 inches tall and weighs 20.2 lbs. That puts her in the 50th percentile now. (that means she's average!) She's really not gaining weight right now, but the Dr. said it's probably because she is on the go so much now. He has no clue though she literally doesn't stop all day long. She walks and runs everywhere. She will pick up a toy and just walk all around with it in her hand. If she is sitting still, we know she's not feeling good. She can say alot of words. 20+ to be exact and here they are :
Daddy, Mama, DeDe (Landen), Ball, Nanny, Papa, Eat, Juice, BaBa (bottle), Baby, Blankie, Up, Shoe, No, Uh huh, Cookie, Bye, Hi, Dora, Aye Aye Baby, Aye Aye Blankie, I want you (sounds like iwanchooooooo), Puppy, Shoe ... and there's probably more, but that's all mom could think of right now. The dr. said that she is talking more like an 18 month old.
Here's some things about sweet Maddie girl
She loves to sit on anything. She will turn around and back up and stick her butt out and sit on whatever she can. (she'll only stay for a second though, then she's gone again)
She has a fake laugh and does it when other people are laughing.
She carries around her blankie alot.
She tells you when she wants a bottle and when she's hungry, she says "EAT" and heads for the kitchen.
She likes babies, all kinds of babies, baby dolls, real babies, baby animals (we hear baby ALOT in a day's time)
She will put her baby in the little stroller and it's carrier and push or carry it all around.
She's a climber. She tries to climb the stairs all the time, she climbs on my little stool in the bathroom, and our little chairs in the living room. She even tries to climb in her doll stroller and the bathtub.
Speaking of bathroom, she LOVES to unroll the toilet paper
... oh and eat DOG FOOD! (YUCK!) If she's quiet, that's the first two places we look, bathroom and dog dish!
She carries around a toy cell phone and "calls" Daddy and Nanny.
When she's going to do something she knows she's not supposed to do, she will say "no no no no no" the whole way to the (bad) thing. Like the electrical cords, toilet paper and dog food.
She has the biggest blue eyes and long eyelashes.
She smiles all the time!
She will give kisses now, the open mouth kind. :)
She so squeezable and loveable, and she'll cuddle, but only for a minute, then she's on the go again!

and a cute one .. we tried to play outside today, but almost got blown away. The wind was really blowing!
I really wasn't too crazy about Maddie getting 2 shots today, in fact, I was getting upset and I asked mom if we could just leave before they did the shots. I kept asking if she was going to be ok and if she was going to cry.
